Say to them: As I live—declares the Lord GOD—It is not My desire that the wicked shall die, but that the wicked turn from his [evil] ways and live. Turn back, turn back from your evil ways, that you may not die. …
Ezekiel 33:11 (Tanakh)
For most of my life, I have struggled with the dreams and visions that I have had, concerning the tribulation and the Day of Judgment. I could not see what the Lord does—nor can I still. I would look at people and I could see their kindness, but I could not see their heart. When the Lord showed me the multitudes that would perish, I became overwhelmed with grief. I struggled because so many of the people I knew or knew of seemed like fairly good people to me.
Then the Lord showed me his purpose, and I saw him, while he was culling his flock.
When we neglect to study the Word of God or when we do study, but we fail to walk according to the will of the Lord; then, we are behaving like ignorant, stubborn children whom have chosen to live independently from the Lord, and have refused to accept the Lord for whom he truly is. ―The Lord. The Lord is the King of kings, and he has been in the process of building a unique and perfect kingdom of his own, ever since the beginning of creation. From the beginning, the Lord has been trying our hearts to see who would be willing to walk according to his will, and love him. The Lord does not want us to be forced against our will, but the Lord wants us to offer ourselves as willing servants, who are able to work with him, for him. This, in and of itself, defeats the ideology of the Radical Fundamental Islamists; who believe that they have been called to a global jihad, in order to convert everyone to Islam or annihilate those whom refuse. When we refuse to observe the commandments, it is as if we have adamantly declared: “No! We will not accept you as our king and we do not want to serve you!”
He said, “A man of noble birth went to a distant country to have himself appointed king and then to return. … But his subjects hated him and sent a delegation after him to say, ‘We do not want this man to be our king.’ He was made king, however, and returned home. … But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them—bring them here and kill them in front of me.’”
Luke 19:12-27 (NIV)
Also, many people have passed through this world, as examples for us to follow. They were humble and obedient to the Word of God. They were righteous people, who loved and feared the Lord. How could the Lord look the righteous in the eye and justify those who have not suffered, to those whom have? This would be unfair to the few who have suffered, while they were in this world; when they were mocked, ridiculed, beaten, and murdered by someone else who chose to live their life lawlessly. If we refuse to obey the Lord now, the Lord would be defeating his whole purpose by allowing us to live. Why should the Lord continue to suffer, and why should righteous people be subjected to further suffering? The Lord has been creating a utopia since the beginning of time. “The Book of Genesis never ended.” If we lived, the Lord would have to begin this process all over again!
The Lord and those whom have truly loved him will live in peace
