In order that you may learn to appreciate the Holy Days and comprehend the sanctity that the Lord placed on them, I have supplied a list of the original laws of sacrifice. Please note the multitude of sacrifices offered during the New Moon Festival.  This, in and of itself, supports my theory that the New Moon Festival was meant to be practiced as an additional Sabbath day each month.
        
        The Sacrifices For The Regular Daily Burnt Offering
        (Numbers 28:3-8)
        
        The Morning Offering:
        
        1 yearling lamb without blemish as a burnt offering
        1/10th of an ephah of choice flour with ¼ hin of beaten oil mixed in as a meal offering
        ¼ hin of fermented drink as a libation offering
        
        The Evening Offering:
        
        1 yearling lamb without blemish at twilight
        1/10th of an ephah of choice flour with ¼ hin of beaten oil mixed in 
        ¼ hin of fermented drink 
        
        The Sacrifices For The New Moon Festival
        (Numbers 28:11-15)
        
        2 bulls of the herd without blemish
        1 ram without blemish
        7 yearling lambs without blemish
        3/10th of a measure of choice flour with oil mixed in, for each bull
        2/10th of a measure of choice flour with oil mixed in, for the ram
        1/10th of a measure of choice flour with oil mixed in, for each lamb
        The libation for each bull is ½ of a hin of wine
        The libation for the ram is 1/3 of a hin of wine
        The libation for each lamb is ¼ of a hin of wine
