Prophesies Pertaining To Our Days

An Awesome Gift

As I looked on, thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took His seat.  His garment was like white snow, and the hair of His head was like lamb’s wool.  His throne was tongues of flames; its wheels were blazing fire.  A river of fire streamed forth before Him; thousands upon thousands served Him; myriads upon myriads attended Him; the court sat and the books were opened.

Daniel 7:9-10 (Tanakh)

As I looked on, in the night vision, One like a human being came with the clouds of heaven; He reached the Ancient of Days and was presented to Him.  Dominion, glory, and kingship were given to him; all peoples and nations of every language must serve him.  His dominion is an everlasting dominion that shall not pass away, and his kingship, one that shall not be destroyed.

Daniel 7:13-14 (Tanakh)

And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”

Matthew 3:17 (NIV)

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.  Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.  This is the verdict:  Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.  But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.”

John 3:16-21 (NIV)

The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands.

John 3:35 (NIV)

Several years ago, I was listening to a pastor who was teaching about the relationship between Almighty God and those who attended him, and the pastor said:  Even though the angels worshipped God, they never learned how to fully appreciate the one they worshipped.  Then he said that because we are human, and we have the ability to develop an intimate relationship with God; to fall down and be lifted up and receive grace; we have a unique opportunity of being even closer to God than the angels in heaven.  Up until recently, I am not sure that I fully appreciated his message.  That is, until I started to realize how frequently the Lord lifts up his Father and praises him, and his Father in turn praises his son.  Throughout the Word of God, they speak about glory; one for the other and through each other, being glorified.

Then I remembered the lesson that I had forgotten so long ago, and I began to see something very special about Almighty God the Holy Father and his son.  I imagined the Son of God watching as myriads upon myriads were worshipping his Father, but they could not understand why?  However, because Jesus grew up at his Father's side and learned so much from him; he was able to appreciate his Father much more than the multitudes of those who worshipped at his feet.

I believe that the Lord went to his Father and asked for permission to create the earth, for his Father’s sake; so that when he was worshipped, the praise he received would not seem hollow or empty.  I believe that the Lord wanted to create everything that he has done, so that his Father could be appreciated by us, as much as the Lord did, and praised with the same value.

Some of the sages in Israel believe that the earth has been involved in more than one creation, and I believe that they are right.  Now, I will show you why:

God said, “Let the waters bring forth swarms of living creatures, and birds that fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky.”  God created the great sea monsters, and all the living creatures of every kind that creep, which the waters brought forth in swarms; and all the winged birds of every kind.  And God saw that this was good.

Genesis 1:20-21 (Torah)

And God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. …

Genesis 1:26 (Torah)

The LORD God said, “It is not good for man to be alone; I will make a fitting helper for him.”  And the LORD God formed out of the earth all the wild beasts and all the birds of the sky, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them; and whatever he called each living creature, that would be its name.  And the man gave names to all the cattle and to the birds of the sky and to all the wild beasts; but for Adam no fitting helper was found.

Genesis 2:18-20 (Torah)

The Lord showed me that between chapters one and two in the book of Genesis, a great space in time exists.  In chapter one:  The creatures evolved from the sea, just as many scientists believed that they did, and the forbidden trees are not mentioned.  I believe that when the Lord made his first attempt of creating the earth, he was displeased with the progress creation was making.  The Lord was disappointed because the means he sought to achieve were unsuccessful and seemed in vain, so he scratched his first plans.  Or―did he?  Remember, if it had not been for the earliest existence of creation, we would not have all of the natural resources at our disposal today.  Then came the ice age(s).  That’s why a great space in time exists between most of the discoveries of the ancient past and the last six thousand years.  This would also explain the strong differences in appearance, between pre-historic fossils and artifacts from the past.  In chapter two:  The Lord became much more personal, when he began to recreate the world.  The Lord got down on his hands and knees and created all of the animals, himself.  The Lord took the time to intricately carve out each species, before it was lifted, and breathed life into their nostrils.  The Lord was much more satisfied with his second creation.  And because the forbidden trees were planted in the garden, humanity was sure to evolve and grow, in the manner that the Lord had designed.  Thus, we are able to develop a personal relationship with the Lord and his Father, Almighty God, unlike any of creation before us!

I believe that when Almighty God the Holy Father saw the great extent to which his son was willing to go, in order to lift him up and honor him.  Almighty God was moved with so much love, for his son, that he vowed that if he would do this for him, he would also glorify his son, through his actions.

Wouldn’t it be awesome to be able to dwell with the Lord, for the next one thousand years, so that we could learn how to appreciate the Lord and the law, and survive the Day of Judgment?  Then we could witness the love that exists between the Holy Father and his son and have an opportunity to appreciate the deepest and truest form of love that there is―Agape Love.
