Prophesies Pertaining To Our Days

Interpretation Of

The Book Of Revelation

The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place.  He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, who testifies to everything he saw—that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ.  Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near. ...   Grace and peace to you from him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits before his throne,

Revelation 1:1-4 (NIV)

― Almighty God the Holy Father

Please review Revelation chapter 4.

... and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the first born from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth.  To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has *made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever!  Amen.

Revelation 1:5-6 (NIV)

The Son of God/the Lamb of God:  Jesus died on the cross, he was dead and buried, and then he rose again.  Jesus was dead, but now he is alive; thus, he was resurrected and now he is “born-again.”

*Please review Leviticus 11:45 and Romans 12:1-2.

Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him.  So shall it be!  Amen.

Revelation 1:7 (NIV)

“Even those who pierced him,” refers to his crucifixion. (Matthew 26:47-27:55)

Please Note:

“So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the desert,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it.  For as lighting that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

Matthew 24:26-27 (NIV)

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Revelation 1:8 (NIV)

Alpha/Beginning, Omega/The End, who is/before the earth was created, who was/the Son of Man, and who is to come/the Messiah.

I, John, your brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.  *On the Lord’s Day

Revelation 1:9-10 (NIV)

John is a servant of the Lord and a prisoner for the sake of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

*On the Lord’s Day:  The Sabbath day.

Revelation chapter two and chapter three pertain to the letters addressed to the seven churches.  The churches represent the quality of faith of the Jewish and Gentile nations. Try and see if you can detect which of the letters may apply to you.  Some people may have characteristics that are referred to in more than one church.

Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer.  I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days.  Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life.

Revelation 2:10 (NIV)

The prophetic translation of ten days is equal to ten years.

Please Note:

When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near.  Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city.  For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written.

Luke 21:20-22 (NIV)

Three years before the Anti-Christ rises to power, Jerusalem will be besieged by her enemies.  Then seven more years will lapse before the Messiah returns.

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.  He who overcomes will not be hurt at all by the second death.

Revelation 2:11 (NIV)

Those whose names are not written in the Book of Life will be thrown into the Great Lake of Fire and Brimstone on the Day of Judgment.―This is the second death.

...  I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.  Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your deeds complete in the sight of my God.  Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; obey it, and repent. …

Revelation 3:1-3 (NIV)

Please Note:

Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites!  You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men’s bones and everything unclean.  In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.

Matthew 23:27-28 (NIV)

Many people within the Jewish and Christian communities have been misled.  First:

The children of Israel, because they were led to believe that they are required to obey a

multitude of laws that have since been added to the Laws of Moses.  Also, because their spiritual leaders and teachers were bias, the children of Israel were prevented from learning about the Holy Trinity, who are mentioned a multitude of times by the prophets in the Hebrew text of the Word of God.  Secondly:  The Christians have been misled because most of them do not understand the relevance of obedience to the Laws of Moses. When the Lord said, “Repent, repent, and sin no more,” what else could this have meant? If one is to repent, one must understand the law so that they can recognize their sins and repent. Otherwise, anyone who does not obey the Laws of Moses, remains outside of the law and is living lawlessly.  So whether we are Jewish or Gentile, we are considered as though we are dead, because we lack faith and deeds.  As long as we continue to obey the teachings of men and forsake the Word of God and his law, we are like tombs that have been painted white on the outside, but remain dead inside.

Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes.  They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy.  He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. …

Revelation 3:4-5 (NIV)

“He who overcomes,” is one who has forsaken the ways of this world and repented. (Revelation 7:9-17)

I know your deeds.  See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut.  I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.

Revelation 3:8 (NIV)

The letter addressed to the church of Philadelphia; applies to those who have sought to obey the commandments, laws, and decrees according to the Laws of Moses, and believed in Jesus Christ. (Matthew 16:17-18)  They are the ones who have truly learned how to combine faith and deeds, according to the teachings of James. (James 2:14-26)

I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars—I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you.

Revelation 3:9 (NIV)

Those whose hearts are hard and refuse to depart from the teachings of men and refrain from obeying the Laws of Moses will be humbled.  Please try to remember that although this passage of scripture refers to Jews, this applies to everyone who lives lawlessly.  At the time that this was written, there was only one monotheistic faith and another one was only in its first stage of labor.  Therefore, please do not think that this applies only to the children of Israel; because it applies to every faith, whether we are Jewish or Gentile.

Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth.

Revelation 3:10 (NIV)

During the tribulation, a number of people who have repented of their sins and sought to obey the commandments of the Lord will be sheltered from the trial; in the same manner that the Lord provided for the children of Israel in the wilderness, and Elijah and the widow during the famine.  The Lord will provide for us, if we will remain faithful to him in word and indeed, while the rest of the world is tried like iron in the fire.

...  I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the New Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God…

Revelation 3:12 (NIV)

The New Jerusalem, located on the new earth. (Revelation chapter 21)

...  These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation.

Revelation 3:14 (NIV)

Please Note:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.  Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.  In him was life, and that life was the light of men.

John 1:1-4 (NIV)

And:

He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him.

John 1:10 (NIV)

Jesus is the faithful and true witness, and the ruler of Almighty God's creation. Everything Jesus did was for his Father; therefore, the creation is Almighty God the Holy Father’s.

I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot.  I wish you were either one or the other!  So, because you are luke-warm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.

Revelation 3:15-16 (NIV)

I wish that you were either cold (an atheist) or hot (passionate about your faith).  One, who is considered lukewarm, is one who only offers lip service to the Lord.  Their heart and their ways are insincere; therefore, they will be rejected.

You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’  But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.  I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.

Revelation, 3:17-18 (NIV)

This person is caught up in the world and storing up treasure, which can decay or be stolen.  The Lord advises them to forsake the treasures of the world, for the sake of the treasures in heaven; to seek his word, so that they might see, repent, and live.

Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline.  So be earnest, and repent.  Here I am!  I stand at the door and knock.  If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.

Revelation 3:19 (NIV)

Throughout our lives, the Lord tries to communicate with each one of us.  We may hear the Spirit of the Lord speak audibly; trying to lead us, teach us, and show us the way.  We may experience dreams or thought provocations.  It is wrong to reject the opportunity that we are given to repent.  However, if we are caught up in the ways of this world and consumed by our interests; then, sometimes it can be very difficult to hear the Spirit of the Lord speak or―it is too easy to ignore him.

This is Almighty God the Holy Father:

At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it.   And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian.  A rainbow, resembling an emerald, encircled the throne … From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder.  Before the throne, seven lamps were blazing.  These are the seven spirits of God.  Also before the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal. …

Revelation 4:2-6 (NIV)

This is the Son of God:

Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep!  See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed.  He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.” Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, (Jesus Christ) standing in the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders.  *He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.  He came and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne. And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. …“You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.  You have made them to be a kingdom and priest to serve our God and they will reign on the earth.

Revelation 5:5-10 (NIV)

The seven horns:  The ruler of the seven continents (Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Australia, North America, South America and Europe)

I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. … I looked, and there before me was a white horse!  Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.

Revelation 6:1-2 (NIV)

The ruler of a nation, determined to conquer others:  The president of the United States from 2001 through 2009.

When the Lamb opened the second seal,… Then another horse came out, a fiery red one.  Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other.  To him was given a large sword.

Revelation 6:3-4 (NIV)

He would instigate hatred―man against man, and a multitude of people would set out to destroy one another, because of him.  He was the leader of al-Qaeda, who began to assault the United States and other western powers openly in 1993, and until his death in May of 2011.

When the Lamb opened the third seal, ... I looked, and there before me was a black horse!  Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand.  Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “A quart of wheat for

a day’s wages, and three quarts of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!”

Revelation 6:5-6 (NIV)

There will be a moment of time after the last two seals, and before the next one; when humanity will learn to fear the Lord, and seek to understand his ways, and repent.  They will practice the Laws of Moses, and treat each other with fairness.

When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, … I looked, and there before me was a pale horse!  Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him.  They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.

Revelation 6:7-8 (NIV)

This is the Anti-Christ and the false prophet who will support him.  Because the Anti-Christ will have power over all of humanity; those whom refuse to obtain the mark of his authority will be unable to purchase food, so some of them will die of famine/hunger.  Unable to see a physician, some of them will die of disease.  And because many people will flee from the sword, in order to try to save their lives, some of them will die by the wild beast in the wilderness.

The Anti-Christ will use a form of government called totalitarianism.  Individual freedom will be eliminated, and he will try to subordinate all aspects of human life to his authority.  He will manipulate human existence with coercion and severe repression.

Please review Revelation 13:16-17, 14:9-12, 17:11, 19:19-20 for more understanding of the Anti-Christ.

When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the Word of God and the testimony they had maintained. …“How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?”...wait a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and brothers who were to be killed as they had been was completed.

Revelation 6:9-11 (NIV)

Please refer to Revelation 3:8.

Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea:  “Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the four heads of the servants of our God.”

Revelation 7:2-3 (NIV)

Please review Revelation 9:1-11

Then I heard the number of those who were sealed:  144,000 from all the tribes of Israel.

Revelation 7:4 (NIV)

Then in the following verses (7:5-8), 12,000 individuals are singled out from among the twelve tribes of Israel.

Please review Revelation 14:1-5

After this I looked and there before me was *a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb.  They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.  And they cried out in a loud voice:  “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”… “These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?” …And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation;**they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. … For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water.  And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

Revelation 7:9-17 (NIV)

* I have had several Jewish and Muslim individuals tell me that according to their interpretation of the end times; one or the other will not survive.  The followers of both faiths believe that the other will be completely destroyed, according to the will of the Lord; however, this previous scripture contradicts their opinion.

** They have forsaken the ways of this world, the teachings of men, and repented.  They sought to obey the Word of God and placed their faith in Jesus Christ, who has washed their sins away by the blood of his sacrifice.

Please review Psalms 23.

... When he shouted, the voices of the seven thunders spoke, And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven say, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said and do not write it down.”

Revelation 10:3-4 (NIV)

Please Note:

On the third day, as morning dawned, there was thunder, and lightning, and a dense cloud upon the mountain, and a very loud blast of the horn; and all the people who were in the camp trembled. … Now Mount Sinai was all in smoke, for the Lord had come down upon it in fire; …As Moses spoke, God answered him in thunder,

Exodus 19:16-19 (Torah)

I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count the worshipers there.  But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles.  They will trample on the holy city for 42 months.

Revelation 11:1-2 (NIV)

Forty-two months is the equivalent of three and a half years.

And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sack cloth.  These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth.

Revelation 11:3-4 (NIV)

Please Note:

Be mindful of the Teaching of My servant Moses, whom I charged at Horeb with laws and rules for all Israel.  Lo, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before the coming of the awesome, fearful day of the Lord.  He shall reconcile parents with children and children with their parents, so that, when I come, I do not strike the whole land with utter destruction.

Malachi 3:22-23 (Tanakh)

The two witnesses shall prophesy for just less than three and a half years (3.45).

Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast…will attack them, and overpower and kill them.  Their bodies will lie in the street of the great city, which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.  For three and a half days men from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial. … But after the three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them.

Revelation 11:7-11 (NIV)

Jonah, Lazarus, Jesus, and the two witnesses will have each passed away for three days or more, and rose to life.  When Jonah was buried in the belly of a whale; this was a sign and portent of Jesus, who would later die and rise to life, after three days.  (Jonah 2:1, Matthew 27:45-28:10, and John 11:1-44)

A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven:  a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head.  She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth.

Revelation 12:1-2 (NIV)

The woman is the bride of Christ and the child belongs to them.

Please refer to Genesis 2:24, Psalms 45, The Song of Songs, John 3:29, 2 John, Revelation 19:6-9 and 22:17; for more understanding of the bride of Christ.

Then another sign appeared in heaven:  an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on his heads.  His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth.  The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that he might devour her child the moment it was born.

Revelation 12:3-4 (NIV)

The enormous red dragon is none other than Satan himself.  When the dragon flung a third of the stars from the heavens, these were the same angels who rebelled against Almighty God, and participated in the war which is mentioned in Revelation 12:7-9.

She gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.  And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne.  The woman fled into the desert to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.

Revelation 12:5-6 (NIV)

The woman will remain on earth for 3.45 years.

... But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you!  He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short.”...

Revelation 12:12-17 (NIV)

Satan will set out to destroy the earth and all of its inhabitants; however, he will fail, because the Lord will help those whom remain faithful to him.

Please review Revelation 12:12-17.

And I saw a beast *coming out of the sea.  He had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on his horns and on each head a blasphemous name.

Revelation 13:1 (NIV)

The seven heads represent the leaders of seven countries.  Four of them had one horn and a crown on each horn and the other three had two horns, with a crown on each horn.  The three with the two horns and two crowns had more power and authority than the other four.

*"coming out of the sea" (Genesis 1:9-10)

The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion.  The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority.

Revelation 13:2 (NIV)

He resembled a leopard, because he is a descendent of Ham.  He had the feet of a bear because he will walk in the way of previous Russian leaders; his political policies will be non-democratic, totalitarian, and communistic.   He had a mouth of a lion because he spoke “English” fluently.

Please Note:  In Daniel 7:6, the leader of the Ottoman Empire was also described as having a body of a leopard.

One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed.  The whole world was astonished and followed the beast.  Men worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, “Who is like the beast?  Who can make war against him?”

Revelation 13:3-4 (NIV)

“One of the heads,” one of the seven political leaders. (Revelation 13:1)

The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise his authority for forty-two months.

Revelation 13:5 (NIV)

     Three and one half years

He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them.  And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. … He who has an ear let him hear.  If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity he will go.  If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword he will be killed.  This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints.

Revelation 13:7-10 (NIV)

This passage of scripture confirms that the rapture will not occur until after the tribulation.  In Revelation 14:12, we are warned again to be patient.

Then I saw another beast, coming out of the earth.  He had two horns like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon.

Revelation 13:11 (NIV)

Although the beast appears to be a servant of the Lord; in truth, he is a disciple of Satan’s. (Matthew 7:15)

... He ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived.  He was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that it could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.

Revelation 13:14-15 (NIV)

The image will be erected in Jerusalem, on the Holy Temple Mount.

This calls for wisdom.  If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man’s number.  His number is 666.

Revelation 13:18 (NIV)

The man’s number is his address:  1600 Pennsylvania Avenue / 6 = 266.66[666]…    An infinite number of the number 6.

Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.  And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of rushing waters and like a loud peal of thunder.  The sound I heard was like that of harpist playing their harps.  And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders.  No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth.  These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they kept themselves pure.  They follow the Lamb wherever he goes.  They were purchased from among men and offered as first fruits to God and the Lamb. No lie was found in their mouths, they are blameless.

Revelation 14:1-5 (NIV)

These are the individuals who were previously mentioned in Revelation 7:1-8.  During the tribulation 144,000 infants will be born from among the children of Israel.  Because they were young and isolated during the tribulation; they were not exposed to the ways of the world, and because their parents feared the Lord and believed in him; they were raised according to the Laws of Moses, before they became tainted by the teachings of men.  – They would not know sin.

A second angel followed and said, “Fallen!  Fallen is Babylon the Great, which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries.”

Revelation 14:8 (NIV)

     New York City

This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God’s commandments and remain faithful to Jesus.

Revelation 14:12 (NIV)

Again, we have been reminded that the saints will be required to endure the tribulation, before they experience the rapture.

... “Come, I will show you the punishment of the great prostitute, who sits on many waters.  With her the kings of the earth committed adultery and the inhabitants of the earth were intoxicated with the wine of her adulteries.”

Revelation 17:1-2 (NIV)

     New York City

Then the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a desert.  There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns.  *The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls.  She held a golden cup in her hand, filled with abominable things and the filth of her adulteries.  This title was written on her forehead:  MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

Revelation 17:3-5 (NIV)

Most European immigrants fled to New York City, because they were trying to escape persecution and poverty in their homeland.  How many immigrants wept, when they saw Lady Liberty standing in the harbor and they thought that they had finally made it to the Promised Land, only to be taken advantage of by someone else who arrived before them?  And how many political leaders have prostituted themselves and us, as well as our land, for their personal gain?

*The woman is materialistic.

I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of the saints, the blood of those who bore testimony to Jesus. …

Revelation 17:6 (NIV)

Those who hate the Mother of Prostitutes have confused her with the saints, and the saints were caught in the middle of their madness, because of her sins.

“This calls for a mind with wisdom.  The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits.

Revelation 17:9 (NIV)

The seven hills represent the seven mountain regions of the United States of America: Adirondack, Appalachian, Allegheny, Ouachita, Ozarks, Rocky, and Cascade mountains.

They are also seven kings.  Five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for a little while.

Revelation 17:10 (NIV)

The seven kings represent seven presidents.  These are the final persons whom shall serve, before the Anti-Christ rises to power.

The beast who once was, and now is not, is an eighth king.  He belongs to the seven and is going to his destruction.

Revelation 17:11 (NIV)

The Anti-Christ was a president of the United States and will regain power.

Why are these people referred to as beasts?  Why is the Anti-Christ referred to as a beast?  Because if we do not walk according to the Word of God and seek to obey the Laws of Moses; then we are no better than the beasts in the field, and called children of the devil, who is also referred to as a beast.

Please review Revelation 13:2-8.

Then the angel said to me, “The waters you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages.

Revelation 17:15 (NIV)

This is a large melting pot where a multitude of different people live together.  (Zechariah 5:5-8)

The beast and the ten horns you saw will hate the prostitute.  They will bring her to ruin and leave her naked; they will eat her flesh and burn her with fire.  For God has put it into their hearts to accomplish his purpose by agreeing to give the beast their power to rule, until God’s words are fulfilled.  The woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth.”

Revelation 17:16-18 (NIV)

New York City has a great deal of influence over the rest of the world; in the arts, fashion, and finance industry.  New York City dictates what almost every other country does. Because the Lord is angry with the entire world, New York City will be held accountable for the destruction of the rest of the world.

     Then I heard another voice from heaven say:  “Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues;

                                                                                                           Revelation 18:4 (NIV)

Let those who fear the Lord and believe in this prophesy flee, before the prostitute (New York City) is destroyed.

     Chapter 21 at last:  Utopia!

But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.  For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man.  For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.  But each in his own turn:  Christ, the first fruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him. Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power.  For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.  The last enemy to be destroyed is death.  For he “has put everything under his feet.” Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ.  When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all.

1 Corinthians 15:20-28 (NIV)

Since the time that Jesus Christ ascended into heaven, there has been a lot of controversy and misunderstanding concerning the Holy Trinity.  Most of the children of Israel and the followers of Islam, do not believe in the Holy Trinity; because they have not understood the prophesies pertaining to them in the Word of God.  And yet, the Holy Trinity is referred to by several of the prophets in the Hebrew text.  The prophets David, Solomon, Isaiah, and Daniel specifically refer to the individual persona of Almighty God the Holy Father, the Holy Spirit, and the Son of God.

When all of the prophesies have been fulfilled and the Day of Judgment is through; those whom survive will continue to live on the new earth, with the Holy Trinity.  Then Jesus Christ will forfeit his own glory and return it to his Father, who will be worshipped as the one and only true God, because he is truly Almighty God.  Only the people, who have learned how to live according to the Word of God and remain obedient to the Laws of Moses, will be able to dwell with Almighty God the Holy Father, because he cannot nor will he dwell among sinners.  Since the beginning of time Jesus Christ has been creating, teaching, and culling humanity; in order to see who would be willing (free will) to walk in a righteous and holy manner; so that one day they may receive eternal life and dwell with him and his Father, in the kingdom of God.

Too many Christians have been deceived and are confused, because they believe that they are saved by grace and they have no other responsibility, other than to believe in Jesus Christ.  Jesus is the Lamb of God and he has made the ultimate and perfect sacrifice for the forgiveness of sin.  However, only for those who have truly repented.  You cannot profess to believe in and love the Lord, if you refuse to walk according to his will and repent.  To repent, means to turn away from sin, and to turn away from sin, means to obey the Ten Commandments.

The Ten Commandments

Are defined by the rest of the laws and teachings in the Word of God.
