Prophesies Pertaining To Our Days

Prophesies

Pertaining To Our Days

Leviticus 26:14-38:  These passages warn us of what will become of us, if we are disobedient.  The children of Israel have been taught that they have been singled out, and that they alone are required to observe the Laws of Moses.  The Christians have been taught that they are under a new covenant and they are not required to obey the law. However, consider all of the curses that we have all been afflicted with, whether we are Jewish or Gentile.  We have all become afflicted, because we have all gone astray; following the inclinations of our heart, forsaking the Laws of Moses, and the teaching of the prophets in the Word of God.

Zion shall be saved in the judgment; her repentant ones, in the retribution.  But rebels and sinners shall all be crushed, and those who forsake the LORD shall perish.

Isaiah 1:27-28 (Tanakh)

Please review Isaiah 2:10-22.

The following prophesy has been fulfilled:

And He will make boys their rulers, and babes shall govern them.  So the people shall oppress one another—each oppressing his fellow:  The young shall bully the old; and the despised [shall bully] the honored.

Isaiah 3:4-5 (Tanakh)

The following prophesy has been fulfilled:

In that day, seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, “We will eat our own food and wear our own clothes; only let us be called by your name—take away our disgrace!”

Isaiah 4:1 (Tanakh)

There will be a high rate of divorce, people will remarry, and women will work in order to support themselves.

Please review Isaiah chapter 13 and 14:  The destruction of Babylon (New York) and North America, chapter 15 and 16:  Moab, chapter 17:  Damascus, chapter 19:  Egypt, and chapter 24:  The earth.

Please review Isaiah 25:10-12:  Moab, 34:1-4:  The world, and 34:5-17:  Edom.

As for those who slaughter oxen and slay humans, who sacrifice sheep and immolate dogs, who present as oblation the blood of swine, who offer incense and worship false gods—just as they have chosen their ways and take pleasure in their abominations, so will I choose to mock them, to bring on them the very thing they dread.  For I called and none responded, I spoke and none paid heed.  They did what I deem evil and chose what I do not want.

Isaiah 66:3-4 (Tanakh)

See, the LORD is coming with fire—His chariots are like a whirlwind—to vent His anger in fury, His rebuke in flaming fire.  For with fire will the LORD contend, with His sword, against all flesh; and many shall be the slain of the LORD.  Those who sanctify and purify themselves to enter the groves, imitating one in the center, eating the flesh of the swine, the reptile, and the mouse, shall one and all come to an end—declares the LORD.  For I [know] their deeds and purposes. …

Isaiah 66:15-18 (Tanakh)

Please review Jeremiah 25:15-38, Ezekiel chapter 38 and 39:17-21, Joel chapter 1, 2:1-11, and chapter 3.

Ah, you who wish for the day of the LORD!  Why should you want the day of the LORD?  It shall be darkness, not light!—As if a man should run from a lion and be attacked by a bear; or if he got indoors, should lean his hand on the wall and be bitten by a snake!

Amos 5:18-19 (Tanakh)

Please review Obadiah 1:1-18 and Zechariah 14:1-3.

As for those peoples that warred against Jerusalem, the LORD will smite them with this plague:  Their flesh shall rot away while they stand on their feet; their eyes shall rot away in their sockets; and their tongues shall rot away in their mouths.  In that day, a great panic from the LORD shall fall upon them, and everyone shall snatch at the hand of another, and everyone shall raise his hand against everyone else’s hand.  Judah shall join the fighting in Jerusalem, and the wealth of all the nations roundabout—vast quantities of gold, silver, and clothing—shall be gathered in.  The same plague shall strike the horses, the mules, the camels, and the asses; the plague shall affect all the animals in those camps.

Zechariah 14:12-15 (Tanakh)

The previous plague sounds like hoof and mouth disease.

Be mindful of the Teaching of My servant Moses, whom I charged at Horeb with laws and rules for all Israel.  Lo, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before the coming of the awesome, fearful day of the LORD.  He shall reconcile

parents with children and children with their parents, so that, when I come, I do not strike the whole land with utter destruction.

Malachi 3:22-24 (Tanakh)

The LORD is concerned for the needs of the blameless; their portion lasts forever; they shall not come to grief in bad times; in famine, they shall eat their fill.  But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be consumed, like meadow grass consumed in smoke.

Psalms 37:18-20 (Tanakh)

Please review Psalms, chapter 76.

Since you refused me when I called, and paid no heed when I extended my hand, you spurned all my advice, and would not hear my rebuke, I will laugh at your calamity, and mock when terror comes upon you, when terror comes like a disaster, and calamity arrives like a whirlwind, when trouble and distress come upon you.  Then they shall call me but I will not answer; they shall seek me but not find me.  Because they hated knowledge, and did not choose fear of the LORD; they refused my advice, and disdained all my rebukes, they shall eat the fruit of their ways, and have their fill of their own

counsels.  The tranquility of the simple will kill them, and the complacency of the dullards

will destroy them.  But he who listens to me will dwell in safety, untroubled by the terror of misfortune.”

Proverbs 1:24-33 (Tanakh)

Please review Daniel 7:19-26.

The following two prophesies have been fulfilled:

But mark this:  There will be terrible times in the last days.  People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—having a form of godliness but denying its power. …

2 Timothy 3:1-5 (NIV)

For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine.  Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.  They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

2 Timothy 4:3-4 (NIV)

Please review Hebrews 3:12-19 and James 5:1-6.

First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water.  By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed.  By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.  But do not forget this one thing, dear friends:  With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.  The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness.  He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.  But the day of the Lord will come like a thief.  The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.

2 Peter 3:3-10 (NIV)

According to the Gregorian calendar, today is the 9th of February 2022.  However, according to the Jewish calendar it is the 19th of She’vat 5783.  Several years ago, when I was trying to understand the difference in the two calendar systems, the Lord told me that the Jewish calendar is off by about four hundred years.  “With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.”

Remember the sabbath day and keep it holy.  Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath of the LORD your God:  you shall not do any work—you, your son or daughter, your male or female slave, or your cattle, or the stranger who is within your settlements.  For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth and sea, and all that is in them, and He rested on the seventh day; therefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day and hallowed it.

Exodus 20:8-11 (Torah)

Please review the book of Hebrews, chapter three and chapter four, in order to appreciate the importance of obeying the laws of the Sabbath day.

In the Word of God it has been prophesied that the tribulation will last seven days, which is truly seven years; however, the last three and a half years will be the most severe.  (Daniel 9:27, 12:10-12, and Revelation 11:2)

Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men:  “See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones to judge everyone, and to convict all the ungodly of all the ungodly acts they have done in the ungodly way, and of all the harsh words ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”  These men are grumblers and fault finders; they follow their own evil desires; they boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage.  But dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold.  They said to you, ‘In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.  These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.

Jude 14-19 (NIV)
